Just in the process of updating the look of the blog, so things are a bit messy right now, and likely to change at any given moment as I come to terms with the new options.

Useful Conversion Table – Common Ring Sizes

A lot of weave patterns/instructions you find may have a measuring system you aren’t used to.  The most common you will see are fractions of inches and millimetres.
I have tried to list here some sizes you may come across in your chain maille journey.
This list has certainly saved me some head scratching in the past.

Useful Conversion Table – Wire Gauges

Thought I would include today a table I use frequently when checking on the different wire sizes. There are two main gauge systems that are used by maillers AWG and SWG.
On Aussie Maille I try and convert all our rings to AWG system just to try and cut down on the confusion.
