WorkShops

Have you always wanted to learn chain maille and didn't know where to start......or is there a weave that is proving tricky then come along to our chain maille workshops run by Aussie Maille in the beautiful Blue Mountains.  Classes will be held at the Mount Riverview Community Hall.  Reservoir Park, 178 Rusden Road, Mount Riverview.

Currently classes run once a month with two workshops available on the day.

  • 1st Workshop runs from 9am to 12noon. (Morning tea will be provided.)
  • 2nd Worksop runs from 1pm to 4pm.  (Afternoon tea will be provided.)

Feel free to book into one or both workshops. If you are staying for both sessions lunch will be your responsibility.  There is a take away shop within the area.

Class sizes are limited so it's a good idea to book asap to avoid disappointment.  Each workshop has different skill level, which is indicated on the workshop's page.  The experience levels are only suggestions, you are welcome to come along and attempt any and all of the classes. Just be aware if you are attempting something that is too difficult, you may not get your piece finished within the time allowed.

First time students will receive a "Students Pack"which will contain such items as a beading mat, folder to store tutorials, entry to our Student Discount Group and other miscellaneous items.  This iwll be handed out on the first class that is attended.

There will be some additional kits and tools available for students to purchase on the day. If you want to purchase in advance and pick up on the day, please let us know before placing your order and we can organise for the shipping costs to be zeroed out.
